Listen to a chapter.
In this episode, I read an excerpt from my first published book, P.S. You’re A Genius! Oh man, this is one of the biggest lessons I’ve had to learn in my life: that trying harder doesn’t always work. This chapter comes from part 4 of the book called “The New Playbook for Success.” It’s the part of the book where I break down some unconventional rules for success. (Because once you know that you’re a genius, you’ll need a new set of rules to play by). This is also one of my favorite chapters because I think the writing is really funny (while also hitting home a major point). AKA: my writing style. I hope you enjoy it!
In this episode, you'll learn:
About my ungodly number of attempts to get hired at Lululemon when I was in university.
That someone not getting what you want ends up being the best thing that ever happened to you.
That the conventional advice of “doubling down” doesn’t always turn into the results you want. And, how I learned that one the hard way.
What surrender really is and how to practice it in your life.
