How Imposter Syndrome Still Strikes (Even Though I'm a Published Author)

Whoever said, "new level new devil" was totally right.

In this episode, I get real! (I mean, I generally try to keep it real with ya… but this time I’m really dishing the deets on what my inner critic has been saying). As you probably know, my first published book comes out this year. A five-year dream in the making. Something that’s topped the charts of my manifestation lists. Something that’s peppered my vision boards for as long as I can remember. And this year, it’s coming true. Seriously, pinch me! (Actually don’t — I don’t wanna wake up!) But, whenever you’re on the verge of something big, that imposter syndrome can creep up. Listen to this episode to hear how I’m navigating this negative voice in my head in real-time as I count down the days to pub day!

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • Some of the common hallmarks of imposter syndrome that you might connect with yourself.

  • How to practice saying what you do and what you’ve accomplished out loud. (I know it sounds cheesy, but it really works).

  • My tip for deciphering which opportunities I should say “YES!” to out of sheer joy, fun, and alignment versus listening to my negative inner critic talk me into something I “should” do in order to overcompensate and make myself “look” more credible. (Because imposter syndrome always tricks you into thinking you need even more stuff on your resume than what you currently have).

  • Why I’m leaning on the kind words people say and my friends who always guide me back home to my truth. (Not my doubt!)
